Drawn Textured Yarn (DTY) is obtained by processing POY. The yarn develops a texture by twisting and drawing simultaneously using heat. The process involves hot drawing, twisting, thermosetting and de-twisting. The DTY process imparts bulk and stretch properties. Different yarns can be created for desired purpose by using different heating techniques. DTY Yarns can have different levels of intermingling depending upon the application. It can be Non-Intermingle (NIM), having 0 -10 knots/meter or Semi-Intermingle (SIM) having 40 - 50 knots/meter or High-Intermingle (HIM) having 100 - 120 knots/meter. This intermingling is achieved by passing yarn through a stream of air using specific nozzles. DTY yarns are using in numerous, as a replacement of natural yarns, or in specified technical textile applications. DTY is available in three lustres - Semi-Dull, Full-Dull and Bright. The choice of lustre depends on the application.

Apart from that we also make yarns of different lustre and other physical properties using Bright, Semi-dull, and Full Dull. We also offer soft windings of Raw White (RW) DTY on topmost quality perforated plastic tubes which can assist in yarn being easily dyed by just dipping the bobbin in colour. We can provide different coloured yarns too by making use of the dope dyed POY. That simplifies the process by removing the dying process as they do not need to be further dyed. In this case the package is taken on a paper tube and is hard enough to ensure perfect unwinding.
